Working at the Olympics? Why Not Camp In London?

If you’re working at the Olympics and require accommodation for the big event, why not test out London’s largest campsite and festival ground, Camp In London?

Situated in Walthamstow, it’s just a 5-minute commute to the Olympic Park and a short train journey to central London. Camp In London is already providing discounted accommodation for hundreds of volunteers and today they have just announced that they will be extending their fantastic offer to anybody working at the 2012 Games.

Games contractors and individuals working at the Olympics can now receive a 20% discount on pre-erected tent accommodation at Camp In London when they stay for 14 nights or more during the Games. As guests of the camp, they will be able to enjoy the luxuries of free continental breakfast every morning with other campers and access to all facilities.

For those who own their own tent, they will be privy to a very affordable rate of £10* per person per night for a minimum 14-night stay. Pitch-your-own campers will be able to take advantage of all camp facilities and can purchase daily breakfast for just £3.50 per day.

Guests will also receive entry to the entertainment zone, featuring a stage, large outdoor screen, bar, various food outlets and a varied festival atmosphere, all on the site.

Camp In London will be providing shuttle bus services to assist with the short commute to the Olympic Park. The journey takes 5-minutes at a cost of £2 each way. Alternatively, the Olympic Park is just a 20-minute walk from the site.
